[stops and listens too]
Hm...that's strange. It sounds as if it's coming from...
[eyes widen]
Natalia!!! Run!
[sees her look of surprise]
[mental face palm]
Honestly...how dense can she be?
[rushes towards her before the ice breaks in order to push her out of the way while wondering how the ice managed to break. She couldn't be that heavy]

[screams and reaches for Peony, only to touch the frigid air]: Ahhh!
[too late, the area where she stood split and she fell into the cold, icy waters below]
[the cold water hit her hard, feeling like swords stabbing all over her as she shivered in the cold, if she could shiver at all in the water]
[her clothes were instantly soaked and heavily, it was hard to pull herself up but she tried despite the cold....however since it was so cold, her head began to hurt painfully and soon she passed out, her last conscious memory was that of a large, black thing lurking in the waters below with her]

Oh crap! Jade is not going to be happy when he sees or hears about Natalia...[looks around] Hope no one is here to see me take off my clothes...I just hope I don't die from the cold, too.[quickly strips off his clothing, down only to his under shirt and pants, ignoring the cold biting into his skin] [takes a breath then dives in after Natalia] [sees her floating there and quickly grabs her, not noticing the big, black thing floating nearby] [pushes and kicks hard, dragging them both to the surface, ignoring his headache from the cold water] [their heads pop up out of the water] [pushes her body out first and onto the ice] [reaches for a nearby ice block in order to haul himself out, however, his foot catches on something] [shivers, feeling agitated]: What's this? [peers down and sees a large, black fish. The fabric of one of his pant legs is caught on its spikes] [gulps] Jade didn't tell me about this....
[silently curses, wishing he knew how to fight at this moment]
[begins to shiver violently from the cold, his teeth chattering however he fights against it and tugs at his pants, hoping the fabric will rip away. The large, black fish becomes irritated and moves, pulling Peony with it]
[Peony's eyes widen in fear, gripping onto the ice block, trying to stop himself from being dragged down under the cold waters again, but the fish is too big and strong and he is too tired to fight against it now...]
No!!
[closes his eyes]
Jade....I'm sorry....
[falls deep into the waters, the fish dragging him behind, his last thoughts before he is completely submerged is of Jade and Natalia's safety]

[enters looking for Natalia]
[sees her lying there]
Natalia!
[runs over to her and kneels next to her]
[she's unconscious]
[starts to carry her when he sees Peony's clothes]
Peony?
[sees him in the hole in the ice, caught by some monster]
[calling his spear, he grabs Peony's collar, repeatedly attacks the monster until Peony is released so he can cast Indignation safely]
[pulls Peony out, relieved to see his friend coming to]
Get dressed, Peony. We're going to the Infirmary.
[as he does so, he picks up Natalia, and with Peony leaning on him, gets them out of there]
