[after reading for 1 hour, he notices Sophie is sleeping already]
[closes the book, put it on table]
[goes near Richard and Sophie, and tucks in and neat the blanket]
[whisper to them]
oyasumi Sophie..Richard..
[lies down on his bed, then directly goes sleep]

[wakes up]
[notices something just ran across the room, a rat?]
[sees the rat nibbling at the corner]
[slowly approaches it]
[and then, grabs it before it has a chance to escape]
So you're the one I've been hearing in my dreams. Well, I had enough of it.
[goes to the bathroom]
Sorry rat-san, but I must get rid of you.
[Drops the rat in the toilet and flushes it]
No hard feelings. I understand your feelings...of wanting to live. But...sorry.
[pauses]
What am I saying? I must be going crazy.
[washes hand then exits out the bathroom]
[sits in a chair]
[then decides, out of boredom, to clean the room]
[cleans for 1 hour then goes to clean somewhere else]
[exits to the dining hall]

[looks around, confused a bit since he heard some big bang sounds from bathroom just now]
[notice Richard is not on his bed anymore]
[decides to search him]
[leaves]

[stands in a thoughtful posture]
[after 5 minutes]
[exits to go look for them]

[puts Asbel down on the bed and covers him with the blanket]
[sigh] Lucky rat. He will return.
