[runs]

[Dist the Rose]

[watches them go]

[gets his bots to come out and work on the garden]

[they won't hurt the rappig if they find it]

[Peony]

[runs after the sound, hearing it more clearly now, coming from a thick bush]

Jade!!

[points to the bush]

[Saphir's little behind was left out while his other half was stuck in the bushes, trying to claw his way deeper into the hole]

[sighs]

Jade, will you pull him out?

[Jade Curtiss]

[gives a "why me?" sigh and hands his new hat to Peony]

[grabs Saphir and starts pulling--much to Saphir's annoyance]

[he starts squealing]

[he stops pulling]

Is he stuck?

[Peony]

Oh no! Well we have to think of a way to get him out....Jade, how about you cut through the bushes while I pull him out?

[Saphir grunts and squeals louder, digging and splattering specks of dirt on them]

[Dist the Rose]

[hears the commotion, and wanders over--a couple of his bots following]

I may be of assistance, Your Majesty.

[his bots are low enough to the ground so they can go under the bush and take care of the rappig's problem--he was caught in the lower part of the bush]

[they snip him free--without hurting him]

[rappig Saphir runs to Peony]

[Peony]

[hugs Saphir]

Thank you, Dist.

[Saphir squeals in Peony's arms, smearing dirt all over him then breaks free of Peony's grasp much to his astonishment and runs over to the rows of daffodils, taking a bite of one]

[Dist the Rose]

[one of Dist's bots immediately goes over to the rappig--gently pushing it away. It gets in his way no matter what he does--saving the rest of the daffodils]

[others bots have positioned themselves around to protect the flowers]

[Jade Curtiss]

Your Majesty--when did you last feed them?

[Peony]

[laughs]

Well he appears to be enjoying himself. Perhaps I should leave Saphir in your hands, Dist.
The treasurer will compensate you. [winks]

Shall we be going, Jade? Oh and I fed them just this morning. Why?

[Jade Curtiss]

I'm wondering if this one managed to get anything to eat--since he's trying to snack on those flowers.

[watches as rappig Saphir makes more attempts at the daffodils]

[Dist the Rose]

[to Peony]

While that would be an honor, Your Majesty, I'm not here all the time, and my bots only work when I'm here.

You saw the shape the garden was in--my bots wouldn't be able to protect him if something like that happened again.

[besides, he'd feel awkward calling out his own name]

[Peony]

[puts hand to forehead] Hmm.....come to think of it...he is the biggest out of all the others...

[Saphir comes and nuzzles Dist's leg after munching on a clover patch]

See? He's taken a liking to you. [laughs]

[gives Jade back his hat and scoops the rappig up and drags him out of the Garden]

Come along now, Jade. We have a rappig to feed!

[turns to Dist] Again, thank you for your assistance.

[Jade Curtiss]

[turns to Dist]

[smiles]

Well-played, Saphir.

[leaves]

[Dist the Rose]

[watches them go]
