Luke, when I was younger, I couldn't appreciate life. I truly didn't understand what it meant for someone to die.

However, meeting you changed all that.

You think you aren't useful? Nothing could be further from the truth. You, sir, fought to stay alive with every ounce of your being. You decided to learn what you could about yourself and fix what needed to be fixed.

You think you're pathetic? Pathetic people don't have others who care for them, and who don't want to see them hurt or be killed. You have friends who want you in this world.

And, including Asbel. If he didn't care about you, he wouldn't have saved you.
