Please do follow the rules of the Ad Libitum Academy or you'll get kicked out. Make sure you read this UNTIL THE END.
1. No SPAMMING! And we know we don't have a specific rule about how long your posts should be, but please don't abuse that privilege...
2. No DOUBLE/TRIPLE/QUADRUPLE BLAHBLAH POSTING! The only times double posting is allowed is when you need to bring attention towards the thread...which is dead or half-dead, or because you HAVE TO. BUT if you notice that no matter how many times you double post and no one replies back, then don't bother doing another double post. STRICTLY NO MORE THAN DOUBLE ALLOWED...or get the Pikopikobanhammer.
I allow exceptions in Dorms section. (might be changed again)
3. No cursing, please. Don't even make a poor censor like f*** and such. Something like eff is kinda tolerable though..at least until further notice.
4. This academy is rated PG-13. Keep the romance minimum...
5. No FLAMING! Respect all members and be courteous to others. Constructive criticism for one's work is still accepted.
6. No TROLLING! OKAY? Or else...say hello to the Pikopikobanhammer!
7. Spoilers MUST be hidden.
8. Show proper RESPECT to other forum members. That means not picking senseless fights because you find them annoying in some way. There is always a PEACEFUL way to solve problems.
9. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE use the character's REAL NAME as your display name.
10. Do not take any taken characters, please. There's a list of taken characters in the Rules and Regulations section.
11. You cannot be everywhere at once. Please post where are you going and where are you from when moving places. This rule will be effective starting 14th February, seeing that we have more members now.
SIG RULES:
1. Only IDs and text sigs are allowed, for convenience.
2. Once you have an ID, YOU MUST put it as your signature.
3. You may advertise your blog, or whatever...personal. Please DO NOT advertise anything that is against the norm.
AVATAR RULES:
1. Limit size is 100x100 pixels.
2. Please only use your character as your avatar...If that isn't obvious.
POSTING GUIDE:
-use [this] or *this* for the character's actions. [this] is usually in narrative form while *this* is pretty much linear and short.
-use {this}, {{this}} or (this) for OOC/Out of Character stuffs. You don't have to use these in Questions and Suggestions board and Out Of Character part of the forums.
-use italics for monologues/character thoughts.
