And Miss Animi, saying the Fonic Verse actually makes the Fonons pull together to give you a stronger spell. That's its purpose.

You can cast a Fonic Spell without saying the Verse aloud, Mr. Lhant--just by thinking it. However, if you don't think or say it--it's a weaker spell.
Miss Pascal--very good. However, we aren't trying for size or impressions. This was so I could evaluate all of you.
And, I have these suggestions:
Miss Brunel: I'd like for you to practice "Light-based" Fonic Artes. Judging by the spell that did come out. These would seem to suit you.
Mr. Wilder: I'm guessing you have a flare for Fire-based spell, so I would like for you to study those types of spells.
Mr. Lhant: I would suggest "Water-based" Fonic Artes.
Mr. Ozwell: I would suggest "Earth-based" Fonic Artes.
Miss Animi: I would like for you to also study Light-Based spells.
Miss Pascal: Another nominee for Light-based spells.
Mr. Fon Fabre: Focus on "Wind-Based" Fonic Artes
Mr. Irving: I would like for you to practice the exercise we did today--alone. No one else around.
You should be able to find books on these artes in the library, and I will post suggestions on the Bulletin Board.
There's no class after mine right now, anyway. So you're safe.

[sighs]
Again, this was not about the size of the spell. If you can't control the spell, what good does it do?
That's why I had you face AWAY from the building.
When you become better at the spell, you can control how much power you can put behind it.
Eventually, you'll be able to do this:
"I, who stand in the full light of the heavens, command thee, who opens the gates of hell. Come forth, divine lightning! This ends now! Indignation!"

*surprised look at Curtiss-sensei's indignation*
hm.. I'm Water-based Fonic Artes. Understood Curtiss-sensei. I'll do my best learn more about this, sensei.
thanks for your lesson Curtiss-sensei *bows*
[turns to Luke and Iria] Okay, what should we do next, Luke and Iria-san? I'll tag along with you two.
