While not obligatory for teachers, I believe that writing this journal will be beneficial in organizing my thoughts and allow me help myself.
After all--who counsels the counselor?
I realize that others may see this, but if I didn't want it to be seen, I wouldn't be writing it down.
After speaking with several students and the questions they have asked, I realize that I, in essence, have not truly put my past behind me.
And I am reminded every time I see Luke and Asch and Sync and Florian.
Although each have different personalities, three are the result of my research. One is always happy, one doesn't consider himself human, and the other doesn't think he deserves to live.
None are asked to be born into this world, but that is by chance--this was by calculation and science.
Two things I once held in high regard.
Now, I am left to wonder--just what have my actions accomplished?
And, am I now paying for my sins of the past by facing them in the present?
I have always believed myself to be a man not guided by faith, but by science; however, too many "coincidences" have occurred for me to not think that some form of higher power is working here.

March 10:
I have just come from examining Miss Fujibayashi and confirming her and Mr. Wilder's diagnosis that she has a cold.
I regret that I did not take her sneezing seriously earlier, but my attention was focused on Luke and the mood he seemed to be in.
He was all right when we talked in the Infirmary, but now, he seems to be reverting to his old self. As proven when we talked on the roof top.
I have a strong suspicion that Luke is attracted to Miss Fujibayashi and doesn't know what to do. If he is smart in this, he won't cross a line that will have Mr. Wilder going after him with his sword.
Ah, Mr. Wilder....there is more to you than meets the eye, isn't there? You act frivolous and flirty, yet as soon as you saw Miss Fujibayashi was ill, you rushed to get help for her. I told her once that you are lucky to have her in your life. Don't mess things up.
Like insulting Sync. Although amusing, he does not take those kinds of insults well. Be on guard, Mr. Wilder. And if you need my help--all you need to do is ask.
****
On to other matters. Miss Estellise is still missing, yet Miss Mordio has come back. I am not sure what is happening here, but I will discuss things with Mr. Scifo as soon as possible.
****
And Sir Duke is blasting students through rooms? I hope my infirmary can take it.

March 24:
For the first time in my life--I am in a quandary that I am having trouble getting out of. Dist has shown up with his brother--who I knew nothing about. I am suspicious at his motives--despite his claims that he was hired as a Gardener. Dist hates to dirty himself with anything, so I find this story hard to believe. Yet--the garden actually looks good.
As for his brother--Cumore--enslaving people doesn't sit well with me. Prepare for the Necromancer, Cumore.
Seems Sir Duke and Mr. Abend also share my suspicions about those two.
=============
Mid-terms for the students are also here, and truth be told--I have no idea what to do for the practical part of the exam--although I have an idea of how to go about it. However, it won't be during class. I may have to set up appointments.....
Or--there's another option.

Where to begin?
Cumore's attempt at revenge and humiliation are almost laughable, and if they didn't remind me of the childishness of Dist--I would laugh.
However, unlike Cumore, Dist ahs the intelligence to exact any revenge against those he sees fit.
I can spot the warning signs and usually deal with them satisfactorily, but now with the two of them on campus, I and the other teachers don't have the ability to keep watch on them.
We've asked Tear and Luke to spy on them.
I am hoping that these two will be careful.
